Yes To Carrots Lip Color in Rosy Bloom Review w/ Swatches!

Hey guys! So I just recently bought this and after a week of using it I've decided it's worthy of recommendation. It's a color balm, basically a tinted lip balm, and moisturizes while providing a wash of natural color. Mines in the shade Rosy Bloom and is a dark pink/brick reddish color in the tube, but applies extremely sheer on the lips.

I would actually prefer it to be a little more pigmented but with a few applications it adds a nice rosy tint to my lips- something I've been searching for. On the left side of my arm I swiped it once and to the right was 5 swipes. It takes a bit to build up the color, but it definitely does build up to provide a beautiful and natural looking flush to your lips.

As far as the formula, it has no smell or taste (though if you have a real sensitive nose- it almost has a lipstick smell to it, but it's very slight and not noticeable to me.) When applied it feels more like a creamy lipstick than it does a moisturizing balm, but still has a balm consistency. Don't get me wrong, it does soften the lips like a balm- but my lips don't feel as hydrated and supple when it dries like they would with a good balm.

Above are the lip swatches with my bare lips at the top and below 2 swipes of Yes To Carrots Lip Color. You can currently pick one of these babies up at drugstore.com for 5.99,  also available in shades peachy keen and soft plum if you're looking for a light peachy color or a deeper plum color.
